The pro-form 775 starts off with an excellent amount of programs. Nine fitness programs is pretty much what I expect for about 700 bucks. There’s even a built-in voice that talks you through workouts, I would definitely like to see this feature on more treadmills! It really helps people who don’t know what they’re doing to get the most from a workout.
The motor is about as powerful as I would like to see for the $700 price range. The pro-form 775 has a 10% incline, presenter but I would definitely like to see at least 12%, but this is an oversight most treadmill manufacturers make. One quick thing I should mention is the pro-form 775 comes with freehand weights, while I like the gesture had weights are by no means a deal closer for me. I think the hand weights weight one or two pounds each.
Adequate is the only word I can think of to describe the pro-form 775′s comfort level. It’s not the best treadmill in terms of comfort out there but it’s definitely not the worst. If comfort is important to you I suggest checking out my Horizon treadmill reviews are my bow flex treadmill reviews. In all honesty, they’re the most comfortable treadmills out there for less than 1000 bucks.
Unfortunately, it’s all downhill from there. I could give this treadmill a decent rating if it had a decent warranty. Truth is the parts and labor warranty is horrible! The industry-standard for this price range should be one year parts and one-year labor, pro-form has only seen fit to back this treadmill for a grand total of zero days. Yes, you read right, zero days. Lack of warranty is the reason why I generally don’t trust pro-form equipment and I suggest steer as far away as you possibly can from pro-form treadmills. My motto “trust the equipment manufacturer trusts”. Pro form clearly does not trust its own equipment or it would be willing to back it up with a decent warranty.
Overall, the pro-form 775 treadmill deserves a low 2/5 because the warranty is so atrocious I would feel very bad if you purchase this treadmill and it broke down your couple days later. I’ve seen repair bills for all brands range from 25 bucks to 350 bucks and I wouldn’t want to see you get stuck with an obscene repair bill so soon after buying a $700 treadmill. Everything else on this treadmill is average to maybe a little bit above average, but it’s all negated by the horrible warranty.
