Wanted: Treadmill for an Elephant

Maggie, 22-year-old African elephant, is a resident of the Alaska Zoo since 1983. The zoo has recently decided that Maggie needs nicer quarters, more attention, and a treadmill. She weighed 9.100 pounds and exercise is not enough, especially during the long winter months in Alaska. The Alaska Zoo officials debated last year the possibility of keeping Maggie. She is the only elephant at the zoo since 1997, when her partner of 14 years, Annabelle, died. Some experts believe that a healthy and happy a zoo elephant should be part of a small herd of 3 or more. Zoo Elephant committee decided that the risks of passing from Maggie and her life totally changes are too large. Moreover, she seems happy here and she has a familiar "herd" in Alaska already. Many officials of the zoo, the animal care and athletes, and expects frequent visitors spend many hours a day with her. To ensure the comfort and improve the health of Maggie, zoo officials decided to shelter Maggie soft floors, and better ventilation. Zoo staff will also be the number of hours dedicated to Maggie from 8 hours a day for 12 to 16 hours a day. Finally, the zoo more help Maggie year round exercise and lose weight. She buys an elephant-sized treadmill. However, no one has designed or built an elephant tape. The models are being developed, but if you have good ideas to do. Then in the queue behind me to see the work of Maggie in her new treadmill. Can you imagine the elephant-sized headphones and iPod that need them?
